A broader vision for connecting the performing arts.

More About StageHub

Hi there! I'm Eric, the founder and solo-developer behind StageHub.
While studying technical theatre in undergrad (with a concentration in stage management, under an amazing mentor and Actor's Equity Stage Manager), I found myself getting frustrated with needing to use multiple tools to manage my shows, and constantly asking actors to fill out the same paperwork show-after-show (and trying to decipher their handwriting).
When working one summer at Interlochen Center for the Arts, I started tinkering on a prototype of a platform that would help keep me organized, and allow me to focus more on managing three massive shows, and less on whether or not I had the right email address for all my actors.
StageHub is built on the idea that stage managers shouldn't need to deal with manual entry of actors' personal & contact information, and that actors shouldn't need to fill out the same paperwork over and over again. Why not give actors a way to manage their information in one place, and then share it with productions they are a part of?

The bigger picture

StageHub isn't just about a platform to make stage managers' lives easier. My vision is to see it grow into a true "hub" for all things performing arts. From managing auditions, to helping music directors find musicians or giving actors & designers a place to showcase their work, there's a lot on the horizon for StageHub, and I hope you'll be a part of its journey!
